What is the NSW Government's Energy Savings Scheme?
The Energy Savings Scheme is a NSW Government funded initiative that provides for approved Recognised Energy Savings Activities (RESA) for commercial and industrial settings. Such activities are approved when they increase the energy efficiency of the commercial or industrial dwelling, and/or they reduce the electricity consumption of these dwellings. Therefore our replacement of existing end-user equipment such as inefficient halogen downlights, with energy efficient Ecobulb downlights generates energy savings certificates which allow us to provide this service for free.
What are Energy Saving Certificates?
Energy Saving Certificates are cost saving certificates/rebates that are provided for energy saving activities. When greater energy savings are created more energy saving certificates are created which allows for greater rebates on energy saving activities. Since there is such a large saving of electricity consumption through our Halogen downlight replacement with Ecobulb compact fluorescent downlights we are able to generate enough Energy Saving Certificates to provide this as a free service.
